Yin yoga is one of the ways to perform the asanas of hatha yoga. Ha - sun, tha - moon. Yin - a part of tha yoga, which aims to tense and increase the range of joints motion and development of flexibility.
Yin Yoga - lunar, passive and soft (feminine). It has its roots in traditional hatha yoga. Yin yoga is characterized by the passive withstanding of postures (2-10 minutes).

Following aids are used: blocks, pillows, chairs, belts.
Suitable for all levels of proficiency.
Yin Yoga calms down and teaches deep relaxation.
